Brian was born in Danvers, MA and started playing drums in high school.  He switched to guitar when he moved to college (drums in the dorm don’t work too well) where he took a few theory and ensemble classes on drums and guitar.  Then he moved to Providence RI and bought a dobro (very novel in Providence).  He played dobro and guitar in a few bands….then he bought a bass.  He played bass around southern New England for a few years then moved to Austin to make it as a dobro player.  He plays bass for The Flattcar Rattlers (and The Lost Pines).
